Diary of war years spent with Ave Maria girls, 1939-1945
The file consists of a volume handwritten in pencil with "Sr Patricia" annotated on the front of the notebook [M. Patricia Cronin RSM]. The diary starts on 30 August 1939 and ends 29 May 1945. There is a lot of description about Sister's life and the Bishops and priests she met.
"History of the First Year or so of the Ave Maria School's Evacuation", Circa 1945
The file consists of a typed narrative of the Sister's experience with evacuating the Ave Maria school, eventually arriving at Edge Grove near Watford on 19 October 1939, it is written by M Teresa mentasti RSM. The story after 1941 is unknown as pages were lost, according to the narrative which starts on 31 August 1939.

Entitled "St Joseph's RC Dockhead. School 014B Infants' Department. Sister M. Gertrude J. Head Teacher." Log with the following headings: visits, reports, absences, changes in staff, temporary teachers, timetable, teaching by Head Teacher, Assistant in charge, closures, attendance, circulars, registers, fire drill and misc. Handwritten in London County Council log books. The miscellaneous section ends with "31.8.39 Message to Evacuate Friday Sept. 1st 1939."

The file also includes the obituary of Theodora Daly who reopened St Mary's school after Second World War.
'One Hundred lines written in memory of the Centenary of Bermondsey', 1942
The file consists of a handwritten poem composed at Luves where some of the Bermondsey sisters were evacuated with school children during World War Two. It was written on 19 November 1942.
