Material collected relating to Alpha, Kingston, Jamaica, including historical research, anniversary publications, calendars, newspapers, programmes, souvenirs, photographs, correspondence, and articles documenting the history of Alpha Industrial School, Mount St Joseph School and the Sisters of Mercy's work in Jamaica. Also includes material relating to the 125th anniversary celebrations held in 2005 and information on M. Ignatius Davies RSM (1921–2003).

Scope and Contents The file consists of a souvenir book for the centenary of the Vicariate Apostolic of the Catholic Church in Jamaica, 1837-1937, which includes a description and photograph of the Sisters of Mercy in Jamaica.
