Scope and Contents The file consists of six volumes detailing the daily life of the school, outings visits, each girl's progress and records of dates of case conferences. One refers to the period during the school's location in Wellesley Road Croydon, four refer to the school located in Eltham, and one refers to the Hostel in Tavistock Road, Croydon. Volume I runs from June 1929 to December 1953; II from January 1954 to January 1969; III from 17 February 1969 to 17 March 1978; and IV from 21 March 1978 to 08...

The file consists of a volume kept by the hostel, all contact from the school was briefly logged by date, showing time, contact by whom and staff on duty. Inserted is a sheet giving school holidays 1981 and 1982 for St Mary's High School, Croydon. The log is followed by a page and an insert of events for annals from 1985 to 1994.

The file consists of three volumes of handwritten minutes, dated March 1929-March 1982 (volume I 1929-1955, volume II 1956 to 1970, volume III, September 1970 to March 1982). Also one folder of typed minutes 1974-1982, some signed by the Chair and with relevant papers, collected by M. Patrick Gilheany as Headmistress.
