The file consists of six volumes detailing the daily life of the school, outings visits, each girl's progress and records of dates of case conferences. One refers to the period during the school's location in Wellesley Road Croydon, four refer to the school located in Eltham, and one refers to the Hostel in Tavistock Road, Croydon. Volume I runs from June 1929 to December 1953; II from January 1954 to January 1969; III from 17 February 1969 to 17 March 1978; and IV from 21 March 1978 to 08 July to 1982. The earliest, volume 5, concerning the industrial school on Wellesley Road Croydon, runs from 1912 to 1929, and the log book for the Ave Maria Hostel in Tavistock Road, Croydon, Volume six runs from 1968 to 1982.
