Original typescript and a bound copy of the "Outline Biography of Elizabeth Constantia Agnew in Religion Sister Mary Clare 1798-1881" by M. Imelda Keena RSM, Archivist. Also included is correspondence between M. Imelda Keena RSM and Sister Mary Peter CRSS, New Hall, Chelmsford, Essex with an extract from the "New Hall Book" about M. Clare Agnew RSM, and an early typed biography of M. Clare Agnew RSM.

Scope and Contents note

A collection of letters, pamphlets and information bulletins about justice and peace work, with the involvement of Sisters of Mercy seen through the variety of workshops and organisational information (Pax Christi, homelessness, utility charges, asylum seekers, prisoners, etc.). Includes letters from M. Imelda Keena RSM to Simon Hughes MP about the 1992 Churches' National Housing Coalition lobby on homelessness.

Scope and Contents note

Resourced and put together by M. Imelda Keena RSM from reminiscences by Sisters collected circa 1994. The file includes the master copy of the booklet (some of the images pasted onto paper for copying purposes have lost their adhesive qualities), as well as two copies of the finished publication which was sent out to communities in February 1996. A handwritten annotation reads "Sr M. Philip made a very valuable contribution to the Oldham Memories".
