Scope and Contents note

The silk is contained in an envelope upon which is written "This Silk has been blessed near & upon the S. Relic of the Most Precious Blood at Bruges, & the faithful often wear a thread of it round their neck to cure spitting of blood - To be burnt afterwards" and "Given by our revered Bishop".
