The children listed as entering are generally over 11 years of age until 1950, when St Joseph's became a Primary school and the senior pupils went to secondary schools.

The file consists of three volumes with entries for name, date of birth, Baptism and verification, Penance, Eucharist and Confirmation. They also contain inserted typed lists of names and sacraments, and are annotated "George Row School was opened April 14th 1913. Sacrament Register commenced 1913." The Junior Boys' Sacrament Register is dated 1933-1945. The Girls' register later becomes the Mixed register.
