Scope and Contents note A member of the Crimean War Research Society, David Williams met Marion McCarthy RSM at the National Army Museum and kindly assisted her by researching whether the graves of M. Winifred Spry RSM and M. Elizabeth Butler RSM (from Liverpool) were still extant in Balaclava, where they died in 1855 and 1856.
