The file consists of six typewritten letters from Byron and Grainger, Chartered Surveyors, to Reverend Mother regarding the sale of property at Clifford and one advertisement for the sale of St Philomena's, the last part of Clifford convent to be sold.

The file includes three typed letters concerning the sale of St Philomena's. Bishop William Gordon Wheeler asked for St Philomena's to be preserved for the Sisters still living there and if not, for the diocese to have the property. It also includes two letters from F.A. Lawton of Grays Solicitors concerning the sale of St Philomena's to the Diocese.
