Scope and Contents

The file consists of a textile covered volume entitled "St Mary's Industrial School, West Croydon Visitors' Book" containing signatures of visitors, including statutory visits by Managers and inspectors; a volume entitled "Record of Visits made by the Managers and Short Reports submitted by them", dated May 1949-July 1982; and a folder containing sheets recording managers visits 1974-1980, with a 1975 report in full.
