Log for the Junior and Senior Boys' Departments with the following headings: visits, reports, absences, changes in staff, temporary teachers, timetable, teaching by Head Teacher, Assistant in charge, closures, attendance, circulars, registers, fire drill and misc. Handwritten in London County Council log books.
Annotated with various school reference numbers: "School Numbers 1185 Board of Education, 014A L.C.C., 10 District No (L.C.C.) Renaming of schools, November 18th 1935. See Gazetter No 1520. (1936) St Joseph's Dockhead RC Rotherhithe No 28379 Board of Education, 014B L.C.C." Also annotated "Dockhead RC School Junior Boys' Department E. Hartnett Head Teacher" and "St Joseph's RC Dockhead School Junior Boys' Department Sister M. Joseph Gabriel Head Teacher".
The school was evacuated to the YMCA St Wilfred's Hostel, High Street, Lewes, Sussex, according to the 1940 and 1942 Diocesan inspection reports. Inserted L.C.C. letter on "The Government's Evacuation Scheme", March 1939 and a news cutting on the visit of Cardinal Heard to St Joseph's (no date).
