Scope and Contents note

File contains the papers of M Assumpta Walsh RSM, including National Registration Identity Card dated 1951; a report on her visit to India, March 1993; a medal and certificate awarded in 2002 by Trnava University Faculty of Health Care and Social Work for Sister Assumpta's work with them in Nairobi, Kenya;a certificate awarded by St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Kiambu Parish, Nairobi Diocese dated 04 May 2014; letters addressed to Sister Assumpta; and yearly reports written about the ongoing work in Kenya. Two articles written in 2016 are also included. The file includes 'A meditation in memory of Ella Ferson written by Sister Assumpta in March 2018 to support a bereaved family, and articles written in 2014 and 2015 around the times of the celebrations for 175th anniversary of the foundation of Bermondsey convent.
