Scope and Contents note
Series consists of records acquired and accumulated by the Bermondsey Congregation between 1839 and 1998. The series consists of illuminated, handwritten, printed and typed Entrance and Profession Registers; Acts of Profession; Sisters' personal files; records of dispensations, transfers and exclaustrations; obituaries and biographies of Sisters; and records of Sisters' graves.

Arrangement note
The series is arranged into six files and one sub-series. The sub-series entitled 'Sisters' personal files' was added in order to allow for future deposits from Bermondsey Sisters. Additionally, the Reverend Mother of the Congregation would have kept a file on each Sister and the arrangement has tried to reflect this.
