Papers of M Clare Moore RSM, 1860
Scope and Contents
The file consists of the last will and testament of M Clare Moore RSM (Georgina) witnessed by M Gonzaga Barrie RSM (Georgiana), and M Stanislaus Jones RSM (Margaret) on 16 January 1860. All three Sisters went with Florence Nightingale to the Crimea War to nurse soldiers in the 1850's. The file also contains images of Mother Clare taken from postcards and a large painting of her which resides in Bermondsey heritage centre. The file also includes a large framed photograph of M Clare Moore.
