Scope and Contents
The file consists of letters to the superior; The file includes
1) Notes on Mary Teresa RSM and her noviceship, no date.
2) Letter addressed to the Reverend Mother in Harrogate, regarding her health; Mary Gertrude; and historical notes on Saint Expedite, dated 20 July 1894.
3) Letter addressed to the Reverend Mother from M. McNulty.
1. A small group of four letters, from the period of the foundation of Sisters from Baggot Street to Clifford dated 1856 to 1857, [missing]
2. A letter from M Joseph Star RSM in Hull to Father Edward Clifford asks for an annuity and says she can withdraw the Sisters in Clifford to Hull at any time. [missing]
3.Other letters from Father Clifford to John Briggs, Bishop of Beverley, concerning the ability of the four remaining sisters to cope with the mission. [missing]
4. There is a copy of a letter, the first page is missing, about faults and the spirit and letter of the rule;
5. A set of handwritten letters from sisters' friends and aquaintances; [missing]
6. one letter dated 23 October 1890 from 'Reverend Mother' [M Magdalen Kennedy RSM] to Bishop Richard Lacy setting out new foundations in Hull since the great convent case of 1869, listing the number of sisters, pupils and student teachers;
7. The Everingham documents, which are letters concerning an agreement between the Sisters and Everingham Park lasting from July 1927 to November 1927, It includes a diary of events covering this period;
8. The Endsleigh Bulletins which are transcripts of letters sent to the Sisters 1939-1940 when sisters were boarding out. They are gathered in a hardback book.

Paper, ink, board, printed material, and copy-ink. One business letter is torn in two, another is torn on the fold, but the volume 'Endsleigh Buletins' in good condition.
