Scope and Contents

The file consists of images of the clergy among whom are Canon E Murnane Priest of Most Holy Trinity Church 1896 to 1927, and who died in 1933 along with a picture of his funeral procession; and Reverend T O'Riordan parish priest from 1935 to 1945 when he died in the V2 rocket direct hit at the end of the Second World War. The file also includes a large photograph of Reverend Father Peter Butler,who first requested the Sisters of Mercy to come to his parish in 1839.
