Scope and Contents note
Illustrated and written by Elizabeth Constancia Agnew whilst a Sister of Mercy (her name in religion was Sister Mary Clare), the book was published by Charles Dolman of 61 New Bond Street, London. There are two copies, one of which has been unbound and the pages inserted into polyester sleeves. The volume in its original binding is signed in pencil "Rev Mother Evangelista Costello".
