Scope and Contents

The file consists of a volume created by a Bermondsey Sister of Mercy, the scrapbook brings together significant images and documents from the 1839 foundation to Sister Philomena being awarded the British Empire Medal in Wigton for her work with the Boy's Club. It includes important clergy and Sisters, as well as those sent on the numerous foundations. One sheet is dated 1977 and may have been inserted by mistake.
