Scope and Contents

The file consists of seven letters of condolence on the death of M. Clare Moore RSM from Sisters of Mercy in England, Ireland and Scotland. Six letters are dated December 1874 and one letter containing memories of M. Clare Moore RSM is dated July 1875.

Also included are 95 letters of condolence on the illness and death of M. Camillus Dempsey RSM written by a wide range of authors and dated 1916-1918. Arranged in chronological order. and letters of condolence on the illness and death of M. Xavier Gethin RSM written by a range of authors between December 1943 and January 1944.
