Arrangement note
The majority of the Bishop's and Archbishops' correspondence and papers were arranged together by previous Archivists. It seems fair to assume that the letters would originally have been maintained chronologically by creator, not by subject, at this level.
Existence and Location of Copies
Copies of original letters ie the handwriting, are to be found in the cabinet in the Archives office. Most of the letters are written by Thomas Grant to M C Moore RSM and vice versa with some input from Florence Nightingale.
