Scope and Contents

The Rule and Constitutions of the Religious Sisters of Mercy was written by Catherine McAuley, based on the Rule of Saint Benedict, and approved by Rome.

The Rule and Constitutions used by the Bermondsey Community were revised upon the formation of the Institute of Our Lady of Mercy GB.
