Suscipe, pre 1957
Scope and Contents

There is a covering message from 'Imelda' most likely Imelda Dent RSM from Southcoates Lane, Hull, dated 01 January 2016, to say that 'Austin' found it for her during the closing of Endsleigh Convent, but not which ceremony it was written for.

Conditions Governing Access note
As a private archive, access to the Institute of Our Lady of Mercy Archive requires application to the Archivist and approval by the Institute's Leadership Team. Where items are closed for access, this is indicated at the appropriate level.
Biographical / Historical
The score was in existence before Monica Butler RSM, entered in 1966 [it was she who transferred the transcript and knew it from that date] it could, therefore, have been written for the Centenary of the Hull Sisters in 1957, as both Austin Thompson RSM and Imelda Dent RSM would have been in Endsleigh for the Centenary celebrations.
