The file is comprised of letters from Paul D'Arcy of John Trott & Son [which became JTS Partnership] as well as from Paul Burnett of Iliffes, solicitors; Grays, Solicitors; and Reid Smith and Partners. Many of the letters are to M. Nativity McConville RSM; there are also letters concerning, among other subjects, the transfer of Trusteeship of St Mary's College and the caretaker’s house; a statement of financial liabilities; playing fields for St Mary's High School; and a gas leakage investigation. Also included in the file is a working party report from Middlesbrough Diocesan School Commission dated 29 September 1983 concerning all Catholic schools in Hull at all levels, from nursery to sixth form, and the transferral from primary to secondary education; and an outsize plan in ink.
