Personal papers of individual sisters filed alphabetically by surname. The papers include correspondence; articles written by Sisters; photographs; songs & poems; birth & death certificates; final Profession & Requiem Mass booklets; mortuary cards; images of Sisters in Palazzola for the Jubilee and for the canonisation of forty martyrs of England and Wales in 1987.
The file consists of personal papers in four folders filed by surname A Z the papers Include final profession booklets; Requiem Mass booklets; newspaper articles; photographs; songs and poems; articles written by the sisters; mortuary cards; a glass photograph of an early sister of Mercy; some interesting letters;and photographs of sisters in Palazzola for Jubilee possibly for the canonisation of fourty martyrs of England and Wales in 1987.

Accession history
Accession # 2019/06/28 adds the platinum jubilee photographs of M Columba Twomey RSM.
Accession #2019/15/05 adds a selection of the accession which was a large collection of photographs of M Josephine and M Columba Twomey, and #2019/15/07 photographs of M Gabriel Lockett RSM.
The latter were used in a display, laminated and glued, a small selection of the collection has been retained to give a sense of the memories of Sister Gabriel.
Accession 2016/003/00 A further tranche of material received from Whitby in February 2016. Many Sisters papers from this accession have been transferred to their house of initial entry if that was not Hull.

The papers of the following sisters' Papers have been appraised out and filed under their convent of initial entry: M. Mercy Harte RSM, to ALN/14/01/14; M Bernadette Johnson, to IOLM/NUT/5/7; M. Clare Marshall RSM to IOLM/NUT/5/7; Josepha Whitty RSM, of Whitby, to IOLM/WIG/4/3; The Obituary of M. Patrick Murphy RSM, whose house of initial entry was Alnwick, has been appraised out. A copy can be found in the Obituaries File in the Archives room. Accession 2016/003/00 also contained a subseries of eulogies, which were either duplicates or have been transferred to the Obituaries File, in the Archive Room. The obituaries of Mr. Alfredo Piacentini; RC Bishop James McGuinness; and Fr. Eamon Carson of Middlesbrough and Chaplain of Whitby Convent have been moved to IOLM/HUL/18.
