Biographical / Historical
In 1994 M Raymund Callaghan RSM and Hilda M Monks RSM from the Endsleigh community, Hull went to Howden, North Humberside, to take joint responsibility with Father Bywater the Parish priest there, for the Sacred Heart Parish. Sr Raymund already worked as a Chaplain in the Wolds Remand Prison and it was envisaged that the Sisters would be a resource for other Parishes in the South Wolds district. In March 2010 after sixteen years of service in the area the two Sisters moved to Southcoates Lane, Hull. [Taken from http://www.ourladyofmercy.org.uk/ourstory/dsp-default.cfm?loadref=302.
