Scope and Contents
The file is comprised of records from 1896 of sacraments received by patients in St Joseph's Convalescent home; records of Confirmation, and First Communion received in 1901; a prayer card dated from 1905; Linen which has been revered as a relic, touched by the hand of Saint Edmund Arrowsmith; a prayer card showing the grotto at Bournemouth; and a first day cover envelope with a stamp of Venerable Catherine McAuley which was franked on 18 September 1978. The file also includes an autobiographical account of the cure of Alicia Dejauteer Clark at Lourdes in 1925.
