Notes for Annals, 1890-1986
Scope and Contents note
The file consists of several note books in which notes were kept for the annals, the day to day lives of the people in the Convent and St Joseph's Home at Bournemouth. There are the contents of an exercise book with details of events from 13 April 1904 to 29 July 1911; a volume with notes for the annals from February 1933 to 22 November 1936 with a register of patients which runs from 01 October 1890 to 14 September 1891 included; one volume which began as notes for science but also has notes on early sisters such as M Clare Moore RSM, Anastasia Power RSM, Ann Nemiss RSM, M Ignatius Pitt and M Catherine Collingridge; and a volume with notes for 27 June 1965 to 31 August 1986. Also included in this file are notes on Coolock House, where Catherine McAuley lived, but there is no indication who made the notes or why they are in Bournemouth's archive's.

Arrangement note
The earliest notebook began life as a register of patients for St Joseph's Convalescent home and could easily fit into IOLM/Bour/4 but as there is more data for annals this arrangement is probably more suitable.

General Physical Description note
Paper, ink, card, pencil, boards some edges of the older notes are fragile and have lost their cover, the spine is broken on one volume and the cover of the more recent notebook is adrift of the pages.
